Well, I’m there since, I don’t know, last Summer. I used their banners and links, but I don’t know – something went wrong. Why is that? On my blogs (and I got 5 of them), all in all I can collect daily around 3500-4500 visitors. Unique. Daily. Well, all of them together clicked on my banners and links around 20 times per day.

Almost not worth mentioning.

So, since last Summer, my earnings are 136,73 Euros. Geee… not enough to pay domains and server hosting for all of my blogs :)

I can’t give 5 stars but only one to this affiliate program. But you can check it out, maybe you’ll do better.

Today, I started my new affiliate program: AdToll. And why is that? Well, mainly because I was looking for some source for advertising (not publishing at this time) for my graphics-illustrations blog.

Yesterday, I was a bit surprised to find out that people with only 300 unique visitors per day earn about 10, 15 or even 25$ daily on AdSense. How’s that? I have more than 2000 visitors daily + my own shop + my own product and am not making anything like that.

Any ideas anyone? Will pay for advice that works :)

After I saw ShoeMoney on the top of the list at AdToll (you know the guy I sent my T-shirt some month ago…), and reading his posts claiming he earned a LOT of $$$… I didn’t waste my time:

The funny thing is that the check is for $1,84! Isn’t it funny?! LOL! :-D I’m rich now! The best thing is: if I cash that check in my bank will take $10 for transfer and 1,5% of amount. ROTFL!!! :-P Craaaazyyyy!

Well, long ago, I tried to find on their web site under my account something like “minimum payout”. But, no success.

Today I tried again. No luck. And I contacted LinkShare with a question: What should I do now with my check on $1,84?

They replied: “A threshold is the minimum balance you must have earned before a check will be issued to you.” (Really?!?!!) And the note is even more fun: “…If you would like to have a $25 threshold, please enter 25. If you would like a $0 threshold, please enter 0.” (Wow!)

So, that’s todays story. At least, now I know where the minimum payment option is located.

Actually, I’m a member since 2005., but I used them on my dgdesign.hr web site, and of course: without a success/sale. I’m not sure is it because we are a small country, customers are afraid of too many options on the site or people here just hate buying anything online.

Now I will find out.

They have a lot of advertising options for affiliates and I love it. Sometimes I’m lost in all those domain names (templatehelp, templatestorage, templatemonster…) but everything is so nice and I can’t wait to see some stats (or sales)!

I created one banner with a preview of two latest designs on graphics-illustrations.blogspot.com and maybe someone will at least click on it :)

After a while I said OK and searched for another option and found „Pay per post“. After registration it was brought to my attention that Google lowered PR for „Pay per post“ blog posts/reviews. So I decided not to take an action and get rid off their PPP Tool. I don’t want to put at risk of my PR being lowered because some java script banner that offers me to write for a $5 per post/review. No, thanks.

I registered at „Sponsored Reviews“. At that time my PR and Alexa ratings were quite low. Since then PR and Alexa ratings of my blogs were increased but guys at “Sponsored Reviews” just did not update that info. I hope they’ll do it, eventually. Now I’m bidding on „Sponsored Reviews“ and waiting for the advertisers to approve or not to approve my bids.

And last – I tried with “Smorty”. And that was a good one. No need to “install the java script code that threaten your Google PR“ or something. Sometimes they offer $24 per post/review. Well, first I thought there was something fishy, but everything went well and I’m writing for them whenever I can.

I’m pretty new in “get paid for blogging” stuff, but I hope I’ll succeed.

Well, I’ve tried to work it out with Affiliate Junktion, but those guys just keep on sending me the same emails this week. I just hope that I didn’t lose my money! Because I already payed them. I’m not sure I like this situation. The guys behind the affiliate junktion review and moneyfrom-net.com posted some good words about them (on my last post regarding the AJ), so I’ll not rush into conclusion. But than again: I am not sure if these guys are not the Affiliate Junktion guys just making some promo for themselves.

I don’t know what to think about all that “affiliate” and “make money online” things I’m doing now. Sometimes I just hate the Internet!

Next “fishy” thing is smorty.com.

Smorty.com wants you to write an article of between 150 and 400 words. Not so easy when a broad theme comes in (like mine about the shopping cart software, whos service I really liked). Then, you have to publish that article on your blog – and guess what – wait for 5 days for them to review and eventually approve it. Hm, interesting. 5 days. On my graphics-illustrations blog it means that more than 3000 people already saw that post. Google took that post into account when weighing the value of their site, and guess what: no matter if your article good or bad, stupid or clever, after five days of sitting on your blog it can be refused without any explanation. Click. Done. Like that. Gone by the wind.

Not sure it was worthwhile. Not at all. Let’s see what happens next.
